“Thana Divas” aims to solve people’s problems

“Thana Divas” is organized at a police station on the every month with the aim of solving peace and security problems and people’s problems at the village level. As part of that, on 04.05.2023 Ellareddypet police station was open to the public from the morning and 112 complaints were received from the people and orders were issued to the officers immediately to solve the problems. SP said that “Thana Divas” program has been organized to get closer to the people and we are working to maintain peace and security in the villages by organizing community programs in the villages from time to time.

He said that after receiving the complaints from the people and asking about their problems, the authorities have been ordered to solve those problems, and the problems that are not under their jurisdiction will be brought to the attention of the concerned authorities, and they will be monitored from time to time until the problems are solved. Counseling for family related problems will be conducted under the supervision of She Team and Sakhi Center.

If there is a criminal issue in the land issues, the officials were directed to register an FIR by issuing instructions to the concerned officials. He suggested to register PD Act along with criminal cases against those who terrorize the people and occupy the lands. He said that we will create awareness with the Legal Services Authority regarding the civil problems.

He said that the police department will perform its duties effectively to maintain peace and security, strict action will be taken if the peace and security is disrupted, and the police department will play a key role in maintaining peace and security. He said that special attention is being given to the cases pending in the court, efforts are being made to punish the accused in various cases, by increasing the percentage of punishment, crimes can be controlled and a good change can be brought in the society.

He said that the youth should stay away from anti-social activities, should not ruin their golden future by getting addicted to ganja, should study hard and settle at a higher level in life and bring a good name to family and to their parents. If those who are addicted to ganja and are unable to stop, bring them to us, we will conduct counseling with a psychologist.

During the “Thana Divas” program held at Vemulawada Rural Police Station on the 4th of last month, 53 complaints were received out of which 13 complaints were filed and FIRs were registered. Legal Services Authority talked to them and created awareness.
