Offering Odibiyyam to Goddess Padmavati – Sircilla Municipal President Jindam Kala Chakrapani
On 08.10.2022, Sircilla Padmasali Sangam presented Odi Biyyam silk robes to Lord Venkateswara Swami – Padmavati as a part of the Brahmotsavam of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy by the couple of Municipality President Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani and President of Sircilla Padmasali Sangam Goli Venkataramana.
President of Municipality Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani said that as part of Sri Shala Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy Brahmotsavam, this year under the Sircilla Padmasali Sangam, rice cloths were presented to Sri Padmavati, the daughter of Padmasali caste members, in a grand manner so that future generations will know the greatness of our cultural traditions.
She said that as a part of the arrangements for this Brahmotsavam, all the necessary steps have been taken by the Municipal Corporation to ensure that all the devotees participate in the Brahmotsavam of Sri Shala Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy, which has a history of several hundred years, and that all the arrangements have been made by coordinating the authorities concerned so that there is no trouble for the devotees especially during the Rathotsavam.
